- Profile Information: If you become a merchant (creator), we collect your status name and description
- Messages: Questions sent through our anonymous Q&A feature
Information from Third Parties
- Google Contacts API: When you authorize us as a merchant, we access your Google Contacts ONLY to add new followers - we never read your existing contacts
- WhatsApp Business API: We receive message data through Meta's WhatsApp Business API
- Payment Information: Stripe processes payments but we don't store your payment details
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and maintain our WhatsApp-based audience management service
- Process merchant applications and manage subscriptions
- Add new followers to merchants' Google Contacts (only when merchant has authorized Google integration)
- Facilitate anonymous Q&A between followers and merchants
- Send service-related communications via WhatsApp
- Generate usage statistics and analytics for merchants
- Improve and optimize our service
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam, or abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
Important: We use Google Contacts API exclusively to ADD new followers to your contact list. We never read, modify, or delete your existing contacts. This integration is optional and can be disabled at any time.
3. Google Contacts Integration
Google Contacts Access: If you are a merchant and choose to connect your Google account, we will:
- Add new followers to your Google Contacts - We only ADD contacts, we never read your existing contacts
- Store minimal data: Only follower name, phone number, and join date
- Create a contact group: "Status Link Followers" to organize your audience
- Respect your control: You can revoke access anytime through your Google Account settings
What we DON'T do:
- We don't read your existing contacts
- We don't modify or delete existing contacts
- We don't access any other Google services
- We don't share your Google data with third parties
Google API Compliance: Our use of Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With Merchants: If you join a creator's community, they receive your phone number and name for their contact list
- Service Providers: We use third-party services (WhatsApp Business API, Google APIs, payment processors) that may process your data
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
